The ceremony will be held at the "Maidono" (dance stage), which is located directly in front of the large stone steps leading to the main shrine of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine. It is the small stage below the stairs, and not the main shrine at the top of the stairs.
Due to the nature of a Shinto ceremony there will be no seating or reception desk. We kindly ask that you gather around the Maidono stage at 10:15 AM, 15 minutes before the ceremony starts. No matter how tempting it might look we ask that you don’t climb the stage, but instead gather around it.

Reception - 12:00 PM
After the Shinto ceremony, we will walk to the reception hall together with all the guests. Hopefully we will have cherry blossoms blooming along our path to the venue.
Upon arrival at the venue, guests will check in and we will have welcome drinks available until the start of the reception.
During the reception we will eat a Japanese-French course meal and have drinks together.
All guests will receive a set of gifts, “Hikidemono”, from the bride and groom. You don’t need to bring a bag to the reception, but leave a little bit of space in your suitcase for it!

After Party - 18:00 - 20.00
We are looking forward to talking with all of you and hanging out in a more casual atmosphere after the reception.
There will be an after-party at AW kitchen GARDEN Kamakura, which is about a 12-minute walk from the reception hall and a 5-minute walk from Kamakura Station.
There will be a short gap between the reception ending and the after-party starting. Use this time to stretch your legs a bit!
For the after party there will be an entrance fee of 7000 JPY (approx 450 SEK ) that should be payed in cash at the door. This will cover all your drinks for the after party and buffet-style food.
